With 270 piste kilometres, 70 cable cars and lifts, numerous comfortable ski huts, snow parks, freeride parks, floodlight pistes and toboggan runs one of Austria’s largest ski area offers a wide range of possibilities for beginners, families and professionals. Skiing in the „Home of lässig“

Through the construction of the Steinbergbahn and the Steinbergpiste the entry to the magical world of skiing is just in front of the front door. In 50 meters from the bed to the piste: No long journey, no annoying searching for a parking slot and no waiting in the visitors’ queue: Get up, have breakfast and get started! For early birds daily from 8.00am onwards!

The little ones can swing their first curves either directly in front of the house or after a 15 minute walk in the Kinderland above the Steinbergbahn valley station.

A sports shop with an equipment and clothes rental as well as Leogang’s first ski school are located in the arena building of the Steinbergbahn. In the ski school Altenberger you get a discount on group courses as a guest of Apart Herzog!

You can enjoy a hilarious party mood and après ski in the eccentric hut above the Steinbergbahn valley station which you can reach in 15 minutes. Every Wednesday the legendary hut jumping with the „red devils“ and an amazing after-show-party with crazy DJs takes place there.

You want to start right now, but don’t know how?
Get used to the slope paradise on the Leogang round:

On the easy slopes in the Asitzmulde you will do the first swings in the freshly prepared snow before you reach the gentle southern slopes at Schönleiten and Kohlmais leading to Saalbach. After that you get back through the Schattberg to Leogang – always accompanied by the breath-taking view over the mountains of Leogang.

Tip: An extra ride on the Almbahn chairlift enables you the check on your own level on the SkiMovie-route. This racetrack is not only great fun, but also guarantees a personal video of your own departure.
